Inclusion

We are a fully inclusive school, recognising and valuing each child as an individual. We are committed to providing all our children with every opportunity to achieve their potential, irrespective of ethnicity, attainment, age, disability, religion, gender or background.

Children with disabilities are given full access to all areas of learning. The school meets the requirements of the Disability Equality Duty (2007). Wheelchair access to, in and around the school, has been considered and provision has been made. There is a designated disabled parking space in the car park.

The Governors’ SEN Policy reflects the requirements of the Revised Code of Practice 2014. The SENCo monitors arrangements and procedures, and involves external agencies where necessary. Parents of children identified as being in need of special help are invited to school to discuss their children’s needs.
