Year 6

Welcome to Year 6

Year 6 are taught by Mrs Goodrum and supported by Mrs Collins.

In Year 6 we work very hard and have created some super displays and working walls to help with our learning.

An Exciting Curriculum

English

In our English lessons, we read the following texts to support our whole class reading, comprehension and writing lessons:

  • Letters from the Lighthouse
  • Stormbreaker
  • Great Women who Changed the World

To celebrate our love of reading, we have a class reading journal. Year 6 are filling this with reviews of their favourite books; the sort of books they think their friends should read.
